Ouachita Parish, LA (November 3, 2022) – A traffic accident took place in the Ouachita Parish area that claimed the life of a 45-year-old woman. Just after 1:30 p.m., on October 31, the Louisiana State police responded to a crash that took place on Louisiana Highway 838.
Preliminary reports show that a 2011 Toyota sienna driven by 45-year-old Kieta M Hale was traveling south on well Road. At the same time, a 2015 Kenworth concrete truck tractor-trailer was traveling west on Louisiana State Highway 838. As the two vehicles proceeded through the intersection, they collided.
Hale was severely injured as a result of the crash. She was rushed to an area hospital, where she later passed away from her injuries.
The driver of the semi-truck was not injured in the accident. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
