West Monroe, LA – Linda Watson Tillis Loses Life in Three-Vehicle Wreck on I-20 near LA-546

West Monroe, LA (April 2, 2023) – Authorities confirmed that 71-year-old Linda Watson Tillis lost her life as a result of an automobile accident that occurred in the West Monroe area on Saturday.

At around 4:30 p.m. on March 25, emergency crews were called to provide assistance on-site at a crash that occurred on Interstate 20.

Reports show that three vehicles collided on the westbound side of Interstate 20. The incident blocked multiple lanes in the area of Louisiana Highway 546.

Medics were called to care for the victims who suffered injuries while at the scene.

Authorities confirmed that Tillis was fatally injured and pronounced deceased at the scene by the Ouachita Parish Coroner’s Office.

At least one person was transported to a local hospital for medical care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
