Monroe, LA (June 13, 2023) – Two people have lost their lives following a car crash that took place in Union Parish on Sunday morning, June 11.
The Louisiana State Police Troop F responded to the scene of the crash at approximately 1:30 a.m.
Reports provided by authorities show that a collision took place on US Highway 167 just south of Cooktown Road. A Nissan involved in the accident went off of the roadway and struck a tree. The car burst into flames as a result of the collision.
A 25-year-old involved in the accident, identified as Jaylen Norman, lost their lives in this crash. The victim and a second unidentified passenger were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
