Rayville, LA (April 4, 2024) – Emergency crews were requested at the scene of a vehicle collision that claimed the life of one teen. The accident was reported on Sunday evening in Rayville.
According to official reports, a vehicle occupied by a group of teenagers was traveling on Glenda Street during the evening hours when it became involved in a collision. The vehicle struck a tree and caught on fire, resulting in severe damage. A 14-year-old in the vehicle was fatally injured. She was pronounced deceased on-site. Multiple other victims were injured in the crash and transported to area hospitals for further care. The incident is currently being investigated.
