Monroe, LA (August 30, 2024) - At least one person was left injured as a result of an automobile accident that took place in Monroe on Thursday evening.
At around 5:45 p.m. on August 29, the Louisiana State Police received a call about a car crash on Interstate 20. The collision occurred on the westbound side near Coleman Avenue. Monroe firefighters and state police quickly responded to the scene to provide assistance. Emergency medical services treated the victims on-site, and those who required further care were transported to local hospitals. The incident is still under investigation.
