Monroe, LA (February 14, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Richmond area resulted in injuries. The Louisiana State Police and firefighters were notified that they were needed at the scene of a crash on February 13 at around 10:49 a.m.
According to official reports, a collision occurred on Interstate 20 West. The incident caused some disruptions near mile marker 173 at Exit 173 for Richmond. Emergency crews worked quickly to clear the involved vehicles from the scene. Medical personnel responded to the crash site to care for injured victims and transport them to area hospitals. At this time, the crash is being investigated by the Louisiana State Police.
