Morehouse Parish, LA (July 14, 2024) – A head-on collision reported in the Morehouse Parish area claimed one person’s life. The collision took place on Monday morning, July 8. The Louisiana State Police were informed of the collision just before 10:00 a.m.
Official reports indicate that a 2007 Ford F150 pickup truck and a 2018 Kenworth commercial motor vehicle collided on the southbound side of US Highway 425. The head-on collision left the involved vehicles with damage. At least one vehicle had to be towed from the scene. One person involved in the accident sustained fatal injuries. The victim, who was identified as 32-year-old Terencio Ashton, was pronounced deceased by authorities. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
