Monroe, LA (November 16, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Monroe area sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. The collision took place at around 2:55 p.m. on November 12.
Police reports indicate that vehicles collided on Interstate 20 West near Louisiana Highway 183. Police, firefighters, and emergency medical services immediately shut down a large portion of the road. Emergency medical services rendered aid to injured parties while on-site. An unknown number of victims were transported to local hospitals for further care. The incident remains under investigation.
