Ouachita Parish, LA (October 13, 2024) – Authorities confirmed that a woman lost her life as a result of a fatal accident that took place in Ouachita Parish on Friday, October 11.
At around 3:00 p.m., a 2016 Nissan Altima was heading westbound on Highway 80. For reasons unknown, the vehicle struck a 53-year-old pedestrian, who was later identified as Ayonna Wilson. The pedestrian was severely hurt in the crash. She was rushed to an area hospital for emergency medical care. Authorities confirmed that she died after arriving. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
