Monroe, LA (September 22, 2024) – Emergency crews were requested to provide health at the scene of a car crash that occurred in the Monroe area and ended in injuries. The collision was reported to officials at around 12:20 p.m. on September 21.
Law enforcement reports indicate that the left lane of travel was blocked on Interstate 20 E. at the intersection of US Highway 165. The incident caused delays in traffic, which extended approximately two miles from the scene of the crash. Emergency medical services were summoned to the scene to care for injured victims. At least one person involved in the crash required further medical care and was transported to a local hospital. The Monroe police are currently investigating the accident.
